The Course
The approved First Aid Course required for the driving license in Switzerland.
In our First Aid Course we teach you what to do in an emergency situation by doing several training exercises.
Prerequisite:
This course is taught in English only. You must be able to read, understand and follow the directions of the practise exercises.
Educational objectives:
The first actions to take at the scene of an accident
How to call for emergency help, including essential German phrases and your legal obligations in Switzerland
How to keep yourself and others safe when an accident has occurred
Practicing C.P.R. on manikins
Helping an injured person at the roadside
Recognising the symptoms and signs of a heart attack and their First Aid treatment
How to asses and help an unconscious person
Special precautions that need to be taken if a spinal injury is suspected
First Aid treatment of severe bleeding and burns
Costs:
The costs are CHF 150 per Person
Helpful Information:
Through out the course we do a lot of training of emergency situations. We recommend you wear comfortable clothes and shoes! (e.g. no short skirts and no high heels)
Schedule / Next Courses
When and where
The course is 10 hours and takes place Friday evening 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm and
Saturday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm with one hour lunch break (see our course schedule)
